Department Infrastructure & Laboratories
The Department is equipped with modern, high-performance computing facilities designed to provide students with an optimal learning and research environment. Our laboratories feature state-of-the-art IBM, WIPRO, Lenovo, and HP servers, along with Intel Core i5 desktops and laptops configured with the latest hardware specifications to support advanced computing tasks and high-end software applications.
All computing systems operate on up-to-date licensed software and are interconnected through a robust LAN/WAN infrastructure. The campus network is fully Wi-Fi enabled, offering seamless connectivity with high-speed internet bandwidth, ensuring uninterrupted access to online learning resources, research databases, and cloud-based platforms.
In addition to academic computing, the infrastructure is designed to support project development, simulation work, coding competitions, and industry-based research activities. Regular maintenance and software updates keep our systems secure, reliable, and aligned with industry standards.
The department houses the following specialized laboratories:
- Computer Programming Lab – for learning and practicing fundamental to advanced programming languages.
- Data Structure Lab – focused on algorithm design, data handling, and efficient computation techniques.
- Computer Networking Lab – equipped for network configuration, simulation, and cybersecurity practices.
